The refugees, Gilmore, and Vox Machina escape to Whitestone, where Cassandra de Rolo and Keeper Yennen are discussing building efforts. They take in the refugees, and Yennen offers to help heal Gilmore. A small green-eyed girl among the refugees glares up at Grog, who is confused. Vox Machina goes to Castle Whitestone to plan further into the night. Yennen recommends they go to Vasselheim, which most of them agree with, but Scanlan believes is hopeless. He goes out to the balcony, where Grog, uninterested in the conversation, is also standing. They both notice how much Whitestone has been rebuilt, and the rest of Vox Machina comes out to watch the sunrise over Whitestone and remark how their efforts in dispatching the Briarwoods renewed hope in the city. They decide to take Yennen's advice, and Yennen attempts to describe a tree she remembers so that Keyleth can transport the party.
The Chroma Conclave was a faction of five chromatic dragons confronted by Vox Machina. The blue dragon, Brimscythe, was defeated pre-stream; the remaining red, green, white, and black dragons were major villains over the course of Arc 3 in Campaign One (episodes \"Omens\" (1x39) through \"The Deceiver's Stand\" (1x83)).
During the Critical Role campaigns, the band of adventurers known as Vox Machina cross the path of the Chroma Conclave, a sect mainly composed of ancient dragons. As the title betrays, these dragons are at their prime, each capable of leveling a city independently. That means the Chroma Conclave is one of the mightiest forces in Exandria, as it unites the raw power of multiple ancient dragons. Finally, since style is everything, each member of the Chroma Conclave comes from one of the classic Dungeons & Dragons chromatic dragon species.
Episode 3 begins with a vision from Pike, in which Thordak convenes his conclave, observing the trinkets the survivors of Emon have brought him as a tribute. It fails to impress. As the Conclave assures him they are ready to proceed with the next phase of their plan, Thordak declares the tribute insufficient, and all are burned. The last thing Pike sees is fire. 781b155fdc
